First off, we want to thank everyone in here for all the love you all consistently show our team. The community is a constant motivation for our team and the world we are creating. We have never been as excited about what we are making as the last few months, and we've been working tirelessly to get Ravendawn in all your hands as soon as possible.
We have mentioned several times over the last 3 months that while we have rough timelines on the website, they very well could change if we feel we need to change them for any reason, and for now, we feel we should slightly delay the Alpha. We do not have a planned date yet for when the Alpha will be, but we will be discussing this more in our upcoming Livestream on April 10th! ;) so make sure you don't miss that!
Initially, the Alpha was planned to be a very limited experience of the game, and to test basic designs of systems, however, we feel it's worth spending a bit more time polishing and finishing remaining things, to make it an amazing experience for everyone involved.
With the growing excitement, hype, and attention, it's becoming increasingly important to us that when you all do experience the game, it meets the high expectations that are set for it, we dont just want it to be good, we want it to be amazing. We want the first time you logout of Ravendawn to go to bed, to have Ravendawn racing through your mind, and a big smile on your face knowing you've found your new favorite game.
But to do this, we need you all to trust us. To trust that we are doing exactly what we feel is neccesary to make that happen. Trust that we are working incredibly hard to get that reality to you as soon as we possibly can.
However, with the delay, we have decided on a couple of exciting things for the community in return for the slight wait!
1. Leading up to the Alpha we will have even more content coming your way to satisfy that craving for Ravendawn! The community managers are now fully trained on preparing teasers, dev blogs and showoffs, and you all will be seeing even more content than ever before ahead.
2. Because of the slight delay to the Alpha, we will be tripling (Yes, 3x) the amount of Alpha keys we will be giving out to the community! More details on this will be shared in our livestream on how you can get these Alpha Keys! So stay tuned for that! This is as an apology for the delay, but also as a thank you, for all your support in what we're making.
I understand patience is hard to ask for, but I promise you all, it will be worth every minute of the wait <3
