Archery Ravencards

Attention, Adventurers! Bandit went for a walk at Tavernlight Games HQ and managed to grab some Ravenpacks with the intention of sharing them with the community!

Over the next few weeks leading up to the Open Beta, he will be posting Devblogs showing the effect of some new Ravencards from each Archetype. While you can familiarize yourself with their impact in-game, you'll still need to discover more of them by playing, since each Skill has 2 unique Ravencards, for a total of 192 cards. How about starting with Archery? Enjoy!

The rarity of the Ravencard directly influences its impact in-game, as the different numbers (%) present in the Ravencards' effects below relate to the different rarities: Grand / Rare / Arcane / Heroic / Mythic / Legendary

Please note that the values of the Ravencards' effects are far from final. All cards are undergoing consistent and frequent balancing changes up until, during and post Beta.

Iceforge Stormgunner ー Wind Arrow

Increase the damage of Wind Arrow equal to 5% / 7% / 9% / 11% / 13% / 15% of your haste.

Anyone doubting the mobility of Dwarven soldiers will be quickly silenced by a bullet from a passing armored Stormgunner. Using the snowstorm as cover, they sneak up and quickly swarm unaware enemies, seizing the opportunity given by the chaos that follows to leave nothing but corpses on Glaceforde's frozen wastes.

Dwarf Thunderer ー Concussive Shot

Concussive Shot has 2 charges and generates 20 Aether, applying a 20% / 22% / 24% / 26% / 28% / 30% slow to the target.

Also known as Thundergunners, these Dwarves carry large firearms instead of the axe or hammer usually favored by their people. The best of them are selected to serve in the Royal Guard. Many enemies seeking to dethrone the King have failed, bodies riddled with bullets from a Thunderrer's gun.

Brotherhood Marksman ー Precision Shot

Precision Shot ignores 3% / 4% / 5% / 6% / 7% / 8% DP of the target per 10 Aether consumed.

Most marksmen like to boast that their deadly aim is comparable to that of elven bowmen. Their confidence in their skill with the bow is such that they accept the brand of the Brotherhood on their palms, convinced that no enemy will lay eyes upon them and live to tell another soul.

Hoghound Archer ー Quick Fire

Increases Quick Fire base critical chance by 15% / 18% / 21% / 24% / 27% / 30%. For every critical strike from Quick Fire, gain 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8% Haste & Movement Speed for 6 seconds. New stacks refresh the buff duration.

Surprisingly, Hoghound Archers are some of the best marksmen in the land. If your coin purse is exposed, these archers are able to spill its contents from a distance with a single shot. Their hit and run tactics make them frustrating opponents.

Sandwatcher Jackal ー Dawn Arrow

Dawn Arrow enhances your next 8 basic attacks with Sun Arrows for 15 seconds. Sun Arrows deal additional (50% / 60% / 70% / 80% / 90% / 100% Spell Power) spell damage.

Acting as a scout for the Jackals of Hadarak Desert, the Sandwatchers use their arrows of light to signal for any threats as well as their mortal enemies, the Djinn. Being of middling intelligence, they’re not trusted with more complex tasks.

Skeleton Archer ー Spirit Rangers

If the target is affected by any reduction of DP, Spirit Rangers deals additional (25% / 30% / 35% / 40% / 45% / 50% Weapon Power) weapon damage to it.

Hunters or bowmen in previous lives, Skeleton Archers are as proficient in death as they were in life. Make no mistake — just because a Skeleton Archer’s eyes rotted out long ago, they are still able to easily hit their targets from a distance.

We hope you enjoyed learning more about the effect of the Ravencards and how they will impact the gameplay. Stay tuned, as we have 7 more Devblogs about them on the way!
