Behind the scenes, the team has been working harder than ever, pouring countless hours into improvements that may not always be visible but are crucial for the game’s growth and health. Today, we are thrilled to share one such advancement that we’ve been preparing for — an upgrade in the fight against cheaters.
As you all know, cheating has always been one of the most destructive forces in online games. It undermines the integrity of the game, disrupts the economy, and creates an unfair environment that pushes honest players away. In Ravendawn, fairness is at the core of our values, and we are determined to ensure that every player has a level playing field to enjoy the game. Our goal is to create a space where skill and strategy triumph, and cheaters have no place to hide.
Partnership with Anybrain
Our partnership with Anybrain, which started months ago, has been a great success. Through Anybrain’s advanced AI technology, we’ve been able to detect and eliminate thousands of cheaters who sought to exploit the game in different ways. This has been a significant step toward fostering a fair and competitive community in Ravendawn. However, as the battle against cheaters evolves, so must our defenses. That’s why we’re taking the next step in our mission to protect Ravendawn.
Introducing BattlEye
To reinforce our efforts, we are excited to announce that we’ll be integrating BattlEye, the gold standard in client-level anti-cheat protection, into Ravendawn. BattlEye’s powerful tools will bring an additional layer of protection, ensuring that Ravendawn remains a safe and fair environment for all players. This partnership represents another step forward in our mission to build a stronger and more secure game for everyone. Think of it as a second, resistant shield standing between those who play fair and the dark forces of cheating!
This, along with the new Launcher and our cross-play Mobile Client, are a series of key steps in paving the way for the exciting milestones we have in store for 2025.
The Combined Power of Anybrain and BattlEye
It’s important to emphasize that Anybrain will continue to play an active role in detecting cheaters. Together, Anybrain and BattlEye will form a powerful combination to identify and ban those who violate the rules. What’s better than one anti-cheat system? Two! And with these two systems in place, we are detecting a wider range of cheating methods and responding more effectively, doubling down on our commitment to fairness and ensuring that Ravendawn remains a place where true adventurers can thrive. While Anybrain excels at analyzing player behavior and exposing suspicious patterns, BattlEye specializes in spotting external exploits and cutting them off at the source.
BattlEye will likely be integrated into the game through Update 2.0.5, which will also bring other significant changes, such as the Breeding System Revamp and more!
We know you’re eager to see what’s next for Ravendawn, and we can’t wait to share our vision for the immediate and long-term future. We will soon be dropping our 2025 Roadmap, which has a heavy focus on very much needed late-game PvE systems & content (Dungeons/Raids), new systems & new features that will take the world of Ravendawn to the next level!
